Beat Wälti is the new Zermatters CEO


On 19 August 2019, experienced Marketing Director Beat Wälti, who has previously worked at Luzern Tourismus, Pilatus Bahnen and the SGV (Lake Lucerne Navigation), will become the new CEO of Zermatters, the outdoor services company.

New bike arena in Zermatt


Bike sale, hire and accessories – all at the new bike arena in Zermatt. This will expand the bike options in the area and help to promote mountain bike tourism.


Zermatt e-buses celebrate 30th anniversary


Zermatt has always been car-free; only electric vehicles are allowed. This applies to buses, too. The first e-bus arrived in Zermatt thirty years ago – an incredible achievement that will be celebrated on Saturday 21 July 2018.


Ski instructors and mountain guides join forces


On 1 December 2017, the Alpin Center Zermatt and the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Zermatt joined forces under a new name, the "Zermatters". The goal is to provide guest services with a local perspective.
