Matterhorn-Arena

Surrounded by nature, yet close to the village, the Matterhorn Arena is increasingly used as an events venue.

The Ring Cow Fight in summer 2018 was the first event to take place in the Matterhorn Arena. The former wasteland was planted with greenery especially for the event. Since then, the area is increasingly used as an events venue. The natural topography is reminiscent of an arena, hence the name.

Located in Zen Stecken, the Matterhorn Arena is close to the village, but surrounded by nature. It also has a fantastic view of the Matterhorn. The last stop on the green bus line is right next to the arena. If you travel up to the cable car valley station using the passenger lift, you can connect to the red bus line or the cable car heading towards the Matterhorn glacier paradise.

• Arena diameter: approx. 37 m
• If no events are taking place, there will not be any facilities at the arena
• Nearest toilets are at the Matterhorn glacier paradise valley station

Zen Stecken is also a good starting point for hikes to Zmutt, Blatten, Zum See or Furi.
