Every year, Zermatt is awarded several Michelin stars and Gault Millau points, more than any other place in Switzerland. Several culinary events are now coming together under the umbrella brand ‘Taste of Zermatt’, with the aim of maintaining Zermatt's superior gastronomy.
Gondola Fondue
While the last rays of the day's sun illuminate the Zermatt mountain peaks, you float past the Matterhorn in a relaxed manner in the gondola. While doing so, you enjoy a cozy cheese fondue and a refreshing drop of Valais wine. The traditional main course is framed by an appetizer variation, as well as various desserts and a local digestif.
