Description

A visit at the Monte Rosa Hut, 2883meters above sea level in the middle of the glaciers from Zermatt, surrounded by many 4000m peaks, is a must see for every visitor of Zermatt!
Whether in winter with your skis or in summer across the new panorama trail - reachable in 3.5 up to 4 hours from Rotenboden (alpine hiking trail with a part across the glacier - crampons recommended!)

The big and sunny terrace with a unique view to the Matterhorn and the Gornerglacier invite you to rest and enjoy your time. During the winter season and in summer the Monte Rosa hut also provides the possibility to stay overnight.

Kilian Emmenegger, Richard Lehner and their team offer an authentic, traditional kitchen with homemade specialities and exquisite local wines from Wallis.
