Born and raised in Zermatt, Matthias Müller knows everything about this famous mountain village.

In his 90-minute guided tour of the village, he tells you about the events that made Zermatt great – including stories that even some of the local people hardly know such as the first balloon flight over the Alps or the International Sports Week in 1946, which breathed new life into sport after the Second World War and paved the way for the Olympic Games to be held again. You’ll also hear tales of Napoleon and other famous people who influenced Zermatt, as well as famous Hollywood films that were set in Zermatt.
