The Matterhorn Terminal offers 2,100 covered parking places. The car park is an official point for transfer from your car to the shuttle trains to Zermatt, as the Alpine village is car-free. Car park tickets can be booked online or purchased at the car park. The shuttle journey to Zermatt takes 12 minutes.
The Matterhorn Terminal Täsch offers the following services 365 days a year:
- Parking garage with 24-hour operation
- 2,100 covered parking spaces, 131 of which are in a separate E-Zone with its own charging stations.
- The charging stations (22 kW AC) for electric vehicles are equipped with cable and Type2 plug. Chargeable use. Payment via QR code at the charging stations. Accepted means of payment: credit card, Twint, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Modern parking guidance system with single space sensors.
- Contactless entry/exit with number plate recognition (with prior reservation in the webshop)
- Access now also via SwissPass card, ParkingPay card and TWINT
- Ticket and information counter, 4 automatic pay stations, payment in cash, debit or credit card
- Maximum vehicle height 2.30m, for larger vehicles an outdoor parking area is available (without reservation)
- Parking spaces for motorbikes (can now also be reserved in the webshop)
- 10 parking spaces for disabled persons, two of them with E-charging stations
- Numerous additional facilities such as lockers, changing rooms, toilets, bistro, grocery shop, currency exchange and kiosk
- Free "Kiss & Ride" (transfer area) for cars and buses in the outdoor area (max. 30 minutes)
- Individual luggage can easily be taken along in the free luggage trolley (deposit CHF 5.00) in the shuttle
- Shuttle trains to Zermatt every 20 minutes, connection directly to the village centre of Zermatt
- Free luggage service for coach passengers (registration by 4 p.m. the day before)
