The Casa Della Vita is located in the very popular Winkelmatten area in a quiet spot. The house was built in 2010 and offers luxurious living in the middle of the breathtaking mountains of Zermatt. Within a short 5-minute walk you can reach the nearest grocery store and the bus stop and within 10 minutes you are at the bottom station of the Matterhorn Express which is the main cable car to the skiing area, the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, and the summer hiking trails. It takes a 15-minute walk to get to the town center with its wide selection of bars, shops, and restaurants. In the common rooms of the house, you'll find an outstandingly equipped wellness area with a sauna, whirlpool, and Hamam (steam room) as well as a storage room for your skis.

Haus Galileo

In this modern duplex apartment you can fully enjoy the unique view of the Matterhorn, the tranquility and the beautiful nature. The spacious apartment can accommodate 6 people and has 3 spacious double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on a total of 137 square meters. For your complete well-being, there is even a sauna in the apartment.

The spacious kitchen and living room offer enough space for families or groups. At the entrance of the house you will find a shoe and changing room, where you can comfortably store your shoes and jackets. In addition, there is a ski room in front of the house, where you can safely store your skis and snowboards.

To get to the house Galileo, we recommend taking a cab to the Hotel Hemizeus. Alternatively, you can take the red bus line to Winkelmatten. However, we rather recommend taking a cab as it is more convenient, especially if you have luggage. From Hotel Hemizeus, just follow the signs that will lead you to the Galileo house. The apartment is located on the first floor and extends over two floors. In the summer you will have at your disposal a beautiful outdoor area, ideal for a leisurely breakfast outside. If you want to use wellness facilities, you can visit the Hotel Hemizeus on request, which is just a minute walk away.

You can reach the center of the village in 10-15 minutes on foot, or you can take the red line bus if you want to do shopping or simply prefer the more comfortable option. In winter you can start skiing right in front of the house and comfortably ski to the Glacier Express station. It is also possible to ski back to the apartment in the evening.

The residential area is extremely quiet and offers an impressive view of the Matterhorn.

Modern and spacious apartment in a very central and sunny location in the village. The location is most convenient, situated less than 5 minutes on foot away from both Zermatt Bahnhof Railway Station and the train stop to the ski and hiking area "Gornergrat Paradise". The bus stop which takes you to other ski lifts is also 5 minutes away on foot. There is a dedicated ski room for guests included in the apartment building.

In the immediate vicinity of the house there are sports shops, luxury shopping facilities as well as restaurants, lounges and bars. Zermatt's Bahnhofstrasse with all its attractions can be reached on foot in about 2 minutes.

Our guests also have access to an exclusive wellness center, indoor spa and a large pool, where you can relax after a strenuous day in the mountains of Zermatt. This is a shared facility with the 4 star plus Hotel Schweizerhof and is connected to the apartment by a short tunnel; it can be reached without going outdoors and within 1-2 minutes. NB the wellness center is only open and available during the opening hours of the hotel – approx. mid-December - mid-April and mid-July - end of August. During the low season this facility is closed.

There is a lift in the house.

Please note that due to the very central location and the proximity to the sports fields (tennis/ice hockey) as well as the children's playgrounds next to the house, there may be some noise outdoors. Indoors within the apartment is however well insulated. For about 2 weeks in April, the tents of the famous music festival "Zermatt Unplugged" are also set up in the immediate vicinity so there may also be disturbances from the concerts.

All flats are non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
