Zermatt Unplugged: Music Festival at the Foot of the Matterhorn

Five days, over 100 concerts, 16 stages and the spectacular mountain backdrop of Zermatt. It's hard to imagine the Swiss music scene without the Zermatt Unplugged acoustic music festival, which took place for the first time in 2007. The flair of the annual festival is so unique that guests are always happy to return to Zermatt in April. The next edition takes place from April 9-13, 2024.

The festival was founded in 2007 by Thomas Sterchi and Marco Godat as a singer-songwriter festival. Since then, the acoustic festival has continued to attract some 30,000 visitors to Zermatt every year. Zermatt Unplugged is the only festival of its kind in Europe.
