After the cancellation of the 2020 event, the Matterhorn Arena in Zen Stecken is set to buzz with excitement again on 8 August this year. Advance tickets sales have started for the Reine du Cervin - Ring Cow Fight on the Matterhorn.
A comprehensive policy has been drawn up to protect the health of all those attending. In particular, access to the event will only be granted to persons with a valid COVID certificate. Information on how to obtain this certificate is available on the website of the Canton of Valais. No rapid tests will be carried out on site or accepted for entry.
Longer waiting times should be anticipated as a result of these additional COVID certificate checks. Anyone planning to attend is therefore advised to purchase tickets in advance online or at the Zermatt Tourism office and to exchange these for an admission wristband from Friday noon, 6 August 2021 at the Zermatt Tourism office by showing the COVID certificate and a valid ID. From Sunday, 8 August, tickets can be exchanged for wristbands at the ticket office in Zen Stecken.
