"The Omnia" ranks among the top five hotels in the world.

Every year TripAdvisor chooses the 25 best hotels nationally and internationally. And the winners of the "Travellers’ Choice Awards" have now been announced. The Omnia makes it onto the world rankings – plus eight hotels from Zermatt are included on the Swiss ranking list.

The Omnia is ranked fifth best in the world.

The 5-star hotel "The Omnia" has achieved fifth place in the "Top 25 hotels in the world" category for the "Travellers’ Choice Awards" on the world-renowned travel platform TripAdvisor. The hotel opened in 2006 and is known for its stunning architecture, reminiscent of a modern mountain lodge. One TripAdvisor guest offers glowing praise: "Everything was simply perfect: the cave entrance reminiscent of a James Bond film, the view from the terrace, the indoor and outdoor spa area, the sensational service, the selection of whiskies, the incredibly delicious schnitzels."

And "The Omnia" takes first place in the "Top 25 Hotels in Switzerland" category. Seven further Zermatt hotels also made the ranking list. The 5-star hotel "Cervo Mountain Boutique Resort" took fourth place, with the "Romantik Hotel Julen" in seventh, closely followed by the "Europe Hotel & Spa" in eighth place. The "Schlosshotel Life & Style" also makes the top ranking in tenth place.

A total of eight Zermatt establishments made it onto the list of top hotels in Switzerland. The hotels were selected on the basis of guest ratings on TripAdvisor.

Zermatt not only stands out in the main category of "Top 25 Hotels in Switzerland" – it also features strongly in a further four categories. Zermatt's striking results compared to other parts of Switzerland can also be seen in the following rankings.
