The municipality of Zermatt has chosen the established and well-known Zermatt family and traditional catering company Unique Hotel Post to operate its newly created restaurant “THE PAVILION - food & drinks”.
After an intensive construction phase, the long-awaited new opening will take place during December.
The contemporary and friendly "mountain BBQ by unique hotel post" gastronomy concept incorporates the various needs of the diverse visitors to the new leisure and Obere Matten meeting zone, designed by the municipality of Zermatt. The restaurant “THE PAVILION - food & drinks” will be open all day from 10 am to 10 pm. From lunch to afternoon snacks and fine dinners, guests can enjoy food and treats to suit any tastes and requirements. In addition to fine meat dishes, various vegetarian and vegan specialities will also be available. There is also appropriate catering designed for children visiting the adjacent playgrounds.
The spacious sun terrace in front of the natural ice field in winter or the various sports facilities, as well as the cosy lounge area on roof terrace with its unique view of the Matterhorn, will be appeal to guests and Zermatt locals alike. The bright and simple interior and the pleasant sun terrace invite you to get together and linger over a fine coffee or a refreshing drink.
The municipality of Zermatt, together with its tenant the Unique Hotel Post, is delighted to launch a pleasant and contemporary meeting place for young and old, guests and locals, and for all visitors to the Obere Matten leisure and meeting zone, which features the new restaurant “THE PAVILION - food & drinks” from December.
