Zermatt Bergbahnen AG has been presented with the Swiss Mountain Award 2023 for its “Matterhorn Alpine Crossing” project. This prestigious award recognises outstanding achievements in the Swiss cable car industry. The project promotes cross-border partnerships and strengthens the entire region. Alongside the achievements of Zermatt Bergbahnen, other projects that inspired the industry were also nominated. The award includes prize money of CHF 10,000, sponsored by SISAG, and emphasises Zermatt Bergbahnen's commitment to mountain tourism and sustainability in the Swiss Alps.
