A new addition to the platform for green and sustainable hotels is the family-run Hotel Bella Vista Zermatt. Boss Fabienne Anthamatten and her team attach great importance to making entrepreneurship environmentally friendly, social and responsible – and to offering their guests a sustainable holiday experience.
Bella Vista is the third Swiss hotel listed with Green Pearls, joining Wartegg Castle on Lake Constance and the CervoMountain Resort.
In addition to a sustainability plan at management level, the Green Pearls admission criteria include environmentally friendly architecture, extensive measures for the treatment of water, energy efficiency and waste, the use of seasonal and regional ingredients in menus and a strong commitment to the social balance in the member's holiday region.
