Zermatt Unplugged: advance sales exceed all expectations
The organizers of Zermatt Unplugged are currently over the moon, with one concert sold out and a sharply increasing demand for all other concerts. As early as last week, OneRepublic were able to put up the “sold” sign! And now the Swedish group, Mando Diao, are gaining ground.
Although advance sales were first launched at the end of January, over three-quarters of the allocation has already been snapped up by Mando Diao fans. The Swedish rock band created a sensation with its MTV Unplugged performance and has apparently spent a whole month just preparing for the Zermatt gig.
But the concerts on offer throughout the week are also in great demand – not least because of Zermatt Tourism’s promotion and support with hotel packages, the national advertising campaign and the special insert in the SonntagsZeitung. newspaper.
The Club Vernissage concerts, which last year sold out very quickly, are also showing a steady upwards trend and the demand is exceeding all expectations of the organizers – especially for tickets for Sina, the dialect rocker from the Upper Valais, who cleaned up on the Swiss charts with “Ich schwöru”.
