In Zermatt, snow sports fans can get their thrills 365 days a year. Those wishing to be well prepared for this winter should come along to the ski testing centre in Zermatt, try out the latest ski models and get an early start to the season.
The first ski testing in 2013 will take place on the weekend of 5 and 6 October, followed by the weekends of 12/13 and 19/20 October. As of 26 October, the test centre will be open every day until and including Sunday 1 December 2013. At the test centre on Trockener Steg, skis are adjusted to your personal ski boots in a matter of seconds. Ski fans can try out the latest models manufactured by the following 13 companies: Atomic, Blizzard, Dynastar, Elan, Fischer, Head, K2, Movement, Nordica, Rossignol, Salomon, Scott and Völkl.
Don’t forget: The skiing season across the border in Italy (Cervinia/Valtournenche) will open on 1 November 2013, which is also the date when the two ski regions in Switzerland (Zermatt) and Italy will be linked up.
