Wolli Summer Fun 2013

Wolli is really pleased to present the great summer program he has prepared for all the kids and their families!

There are many funny, exciting and varied offers – both inside and outside  - from Monday, 24th June 2013 to Friday, 23th August 2013 (except at the weekends).

Monday
01.30 p.m. – 04.00 p.m.Forest-Fun Park
Looking for an adventure? Cable slides, suspension bridges and lots more await large and small adventurers.
   
Tuesday
01.45 p.m. – 03.30 p.m.Fun Day

Have a try at some different sports: depending on how the mood takes us, we can play mini-golf, basketball, volleyball, football, field hockey, etc. Action: let off steam with sport on Fun Day!
   
Wednesday
09.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.Glacier Palace
Visit the highest glacier palace in the world at 3,883 m above seal level and enjoy the wonderful panorama of the Zermatt mountain world.
   
Thursday
09.00 a.m.  – 12.45 p.m. Gornergrat

Wolli and the climate detectives – learn all there is to know about the Swiss mountains.
   
Friday
11.00 a.m. – 04.00 p.m.Marmot Day

Drive up to the Sunnegga paradise and visit the marmot observation post. Learn everything about these cute little animals and enjoy a great barbecue meal at the Leisee Lake afterwards.
Registration - important to know
  • Registration: Zermatt Tourist Office
  • Buy a Wolli Pass for CHF 45.- and participate in all the events free-of-charge
  • Validity of the pass: 5 days, from Monday to Friday
  • Meeting point: Zermatt Tourist Office (time schedule according to the programme for the day)
  • Professional child care
  • Minimum age of participants: 6 (born 2007)

Visit the Trockener Steg, marvel at the “Snowmakers“, the piste vehicles, and learn something about artificial snow.
   
Tuesday
01.45 p.m. – 03.15 p.m.Visit the Matterhorn Museum

Learn interesting facts about the history of Zermatt and the Matterhorn. Did you know, for example, that the Matterhorn has African roots?
   
Wednesday
01.15 p.m. – 04.30 p.m.SwimmingHave a great time in the fresh water of the pool.
   
Thursday
01.30 p.m. – 04.00 p.m. Baking

Help the baker prepare some fine dishes, and take them home with you!
   
Friday
01.45 p.m. – 03.15 p.m.Visit Air Zermatt

Visit the mountain rescue team base. Learn something about first aid and marvel at the helicopter up close.
