Husky Sleigh Rides in Front of the Matterhorn

Before the event:
On the evening before you will receive a briefing by phone.

Enjoy your husky experience during 1 h 30. It starts with getting to know each other: you touch him and he sniffs you. The animal needs time and you need patience until you get used to each other and he shows his joy. While the experienced musher (husky owner) harnesses the huskies to the sledge, she tells you exciting facts and stories about the animals. After that, you're off! While you enjoy your ride, she steers the sledge and calls out commands to the animals. The circuit is one kilometre long and the sleigh ride over it is a lot of fun. With four participants, each person is allowed at least one lap. The musher steers the sledge while an adult sits on it. A child may enjoy the round trip together with an adult person. After each round, the next person takes their turn.

A local guide will pick you up from the Restaurant Trockener Steg and take you to the husky trail. The easy hike to the Husky Circuit takes 10 minutes downhill and 15 minutes uphill. There is a trail 950 metres long and 80 metres of altitude to climb and descend. The guide will photograph the sleigh rides and provide snacks and hot or cold drinks during breaks. You will receive a souvenir after the event.
