Igloo building with outdoor cheese fondue

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build an igloo together, and then eat fondue outside your igloo – a perfect family experience (can take place in any weather)!

Programme:

• Short hike to the prepared igloo building site
• Explanation, instructions and igloo building
• Participants build an igloo from the partly-prepared blocks of snow
• Hot and cold drinks (tea, vegetable broth, water) will be available during the igloo building
• Cheese fondue outdoors
• Depending on the size of the group, the activity will end between 14:00 and 15:00 hrs

Start and duration of the offer:

• Igloo building starts between 09:00 hrs and 10:00 hrs and last max. four hours, including time to eat the cheese fondue
• Other start times are available on request

Minimum age: Participants must be over 12 years old

Maximum and minimum number of participants:

• A group can consist of between four and six people
• A social bubble group (family or friends) can consist of up to eight people

Meeting point: Participants will be collected from an agreed meeting point (e.g. a cable car station)

Clothes:

• Winter clothing (different layers)
• Good, ankle-high hiking boots (can be rented in sports shops)
• Winter hat, warm gloves, sunglasses

Prices:

• Prices adults: CHF 247 inc. VAT per adult
• Prices for private groups (family or friends) on request
• Prices children / teenagers from 12 to 14 years: CHF 220 inc. VAT per person

Registration: Registration required – ideally three days before the event. Last-minute registrations are possible, but places may not always be available.

Included in the activity: An igloo building guide Snow saws and shovels, cheese fondue, hot and cold drinks (tea, vegetable broth, water, coffee) and a bottle of white wine (for 4 people)
