Valais – the name makes us think about the Matterhorn, delicious Raclette cheese and dry white wine… and also especially of the distinct dialect with its unique expressions and exotic sentence structure. For all “Üsserschwizer” (the Valais term for the rest of the Swiss people) it is a considerable challenge to understand this Alpine dialect and not “eswee” (at some time) lose the train of thought. With the “Valais German – High German” Memospiel, one can now prepare for the trip to the mountains ahead of time and not always have to “hirnu” (think, ponder) once one is there, but rather be able to cherish the “Pläsier” (enjoyment, pleasure) of being in the Valais.
