This extraordinary Penthouse, with concepts such as a fireplace nesting in the middle of the living-room window, and original hand-made furniture (including Julen´s famous chandeliers and chairs), has a unique bird´s nest view of the village and the Mischabel mountains.

Over 3 floors it features 4 bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms and TV, an entertainment and games room and a private sauna.

On the main floor there is a large living room with three separate seating areas, a dining section, the open-plan kitchen and a large balcony.
There are two bedrooms, with Austrian twin beds, at each end of this floor. Each bedroom has an en-suite shower/WC, and a balcony.

The top floor consists of the master bedroom with a kingsize bed and a free-standing hydro massage bath, stunning views, and a separate en-suite shower/WC.

On the ground floor you will find the smaller, separate fourth double bedroom, with Austrian twin beds and with an in-room jet shower and en-suite WC.
There is also your private sauna, a utility area, and an entertainment/games room with a large Smart-TV, table football and electronic dartboard.

All three floors are accessed by your own private elevator and/or stairs.

All guests of the Heinz Julen Penthouse have reduced-price access to the Genesis Spa of the Backstage Hotel.

Zermatt´s internationally acclaimed architect, Heinz Julen, designed Zermatt luxury chalet Heinz Julen Penthouse. This extraordinary double-height 260sqm Penthouse has featured in several designer magazines.

Access is a through a tunnel in the centre of Zermatt and an elevator for which you will have a personal key code. The elevator brings you high up to the terrace of the Omnia Hotel, from where it is a 2 minutes walk to the chalet. The village end of the lift delivers you to the heart of Zermatt, in the main street close to the church.

Our concierge team will ensure that you get the most out of your holiday and look after you before, during and after your stay with us. They will help you select a number of other services. These may include child care, health and beauty treatments, planning your heli-skiing adventures, booking your restaurants, ski lessons and transfer arrangements...

Conditions/extras

Our Rates include: Concierge Service, Wifi, VAT and cleaning on departure. City Tax not included.

Upon your arrival in resort we will ask for your credit card details by way of security for any damage you may cause to the property you are staying in.

In Winter this penthouse can also be booked with full cooked breakfast and daily cleaning. This service includes also a mid-week linen and towel change and service bar. The minimum length of stay is one week. Weekly Supplement on self-catered basis rate is: CHF 3,000.-

If you would like to rent this penthouse in Winter with half-board we will offer you additionally: Afternoon tea and cake, champagne with canapés, magnificent 4 course gourmet dinner, different wine pairs (white and red) each evening, Children's menu if required, Open bar. The minimum length of stay is one week. Weekly Supplement on self-catered basis rate is: CHF 7,000.-
