Description
Appropriate behaviour on mountain hikes
On this tour you will practise 1:1 walking techniques in rough and slippery terrain, such as in scree fields, on slippery grassy slopes or over old snow fields. You will learn how to use hiking poles in a variety of ways when crossing streams, on snowfields or in steep terrain.
"If it thunders, the lightning has missed you!"
- You learn the correct behaviour if you are surprised by a thunderstorm
- You will learn what to do if the rescue helicopter has to fly in.
This course is practical but also includes short theory sessions.
Lunch is provided from the backpack or in a mountain restaurant (to be announced before the tour, depending on the arrangement and opening hours of the restaurant).
Equipment: clothing according to the concept of layering, rain gear, hiking boots, hiking poles, sunglasses, food and drinks from the rucksack.
