Description
Ice climbing for advanced or ice climbing for beginners
In winter, the water which flows over the rock faces is frozen. The frozen water crates the base for the impressive sport called “Icefall climbing”. The ice will be climbed with sharp tools (ice axe, crampons, and ice screws) and the anchors are placed by the climber. The ice is not a dead matter; it reacts to the change of temperature. For that reason, an icefall can be climbed several times per sea-son, and it will always be a different experience.
Includes:
Qualified Mountain Guide for about five hours, without personal equipment (can be rented) and cable car tickets.
The minimum age is 16 years. The terms and conditions of All Alpine Sports are part of the booking.
