Wild Zermatt

Discover the unique world of wild animals and plants in Zermatt. Start on the Riffelberg with impressive animal sightings. Sweet marmots, beautiful wheatears and impressive bearded vultures are among the possible sightings. On the way to Riffelalp, you will pass through the forest, where nimble squirrels and cheeky crested tits, for example, are on the move. The unique alpine flora is also a constant companion. Field ornithologist Michel and his equipment enable you to observe and get to know the wild animals and plants up close. Itinerary: Leisurely hike with plenty of observation and photo breaks. Hiking category T2 Start and end point: Zermatt GGB station (ride on the Gornergrat Railway is included in the price) Duration: Start at 13:20 at the entrance to the Gornergrat Railway. Return by 17:20 at the latest: Clothing suitable for the weather and good footwear Number of participants: min. 4, max. 15 participants Minimum age: 10 years Dogs: Please note that taking dogs with you may startle wild animals, which will keep a greater distance from us.
