Special exhibition "The one and only Gornergrat Railway

The Matterhorn Museum - Zermatlantis, in the center of Zermatt, offers you an insight into the development of the village of Zermatt. Here you will dive into the mountain world of past centuries. See how people lived in the past and learn all about the first ascent of the Matterhorn. In addition, you can marvel at the special exhibition "The one and only Gornergrat Railway" from July 1, 2023 until summer 2024. Various stations take you on an exciting journey into the past of the Gornergrat Railway. Numerous historical exhibits provide an insight into how Switzerland's first electric cogwheel railroad has changed over the past 125 years.
