Welcome to Wolli Wonderland!

Wolli Wonderland leads you along the Lower High-Altitude Trail (Nr. 4a, start see directions) and combines a playground and puzzle in one adventure.

The 17 stations along the two-kilometre-long path feature tricky puzzles, unique models that require interaction, unusual equipment that invites you to stay and play a while and various audio stations with seating where you can learn all kinds of exciting things about the fauna of Zermatt and Mitza's adventures.

In the puzzle, our destination mascot Wolli desperately searches for his friend, Mitza the cat, who has disappeared without a trace. With clues from the lively Stein family, tools from the Wolli Adventure Box and the help of the children, you can solve the various tasks that lead to Mitza.

Directions

You can reach the start of Wolli Wonderland in two ways. The footpath from Zermatt station to Wolli Wonderland is signposted. In the off-season, the footpath leads via the Steinmatte quarter to the Riedweg (approx. 30 min). During the high season, when the Sunnegga cable car is open, you can reach the Riedweg via tunnel and elevator (approx. 15 min). The path winds a little more steeply through the forest on the last stretch, but it is still quite manageable with prams. Sit next to Wolli and listen to what the puzzle is about!
