The Zermatt – Matterhorn destination has been awarded the "Family Destination" seal of quality since 2013. This label is awarded to holiday resorts with packages and services designed around the needs of children and the adults travelling with them.
A large number of partner businesses ensure that families feel at home in our destination, with a range of targeted offers. They focus on meeting the needs of the children and the adults with them to ensure unforgettable holidays for everyone.
To qualify as a Family Destination partner, service providers must meet the specific criteria set by the Swiss Tourism Federation.
Families benefit from various discounts, including rail travel to reach Zermatt. But the Wolli Card makes the Zermatt – Matterhorn family destination unique, allowing children up to the age of nine to enjoy free holidays.
