Test center "Salamin”
There is a Covid test center at Bahnhofstrasse 46 in Zermatt.
Opening hours Monday - Sunday:
08:00 - 10:30 without appointment
15:00 - 18:00 with appointment

- Antigen rapid test (validity 24h)
- PCR pool test (validity 72h)
- PCR test for return by plane (validity 72h)
- PCR express test (validity 72h)
The test center is only available for asymptomatic persons. Persons with symptoms should contact a physician directly.
Rapid antigen tests and PCR pool tests for Swiss citizens will be covered by the federal government. Self-tests, individual PCR tests and antibody tests will not be covered, although individual PCR tests will continue to be free of charge for persons who show symptoms, are close contacts or were part of a positive test pool. (Costs: Antigen rapid test CHF 50, PCR pool test CHF 75, PCR test for return by plane CHF 150, PCR express test CHF 200)
Other testing options
Rapid antigen tests and PCR tests can also be performed in the medical practices of Zermatt (only symptomatic persons) or at the Amavita pharmacy.
