The route is a must for anyone mountain biking in Zermatt for the first time. Fresh, healthy mountain air, fabulous views – including of the Matterhorn, from the most beautiful angle. The trail leads through mountain forests and past alpine lakes.

Zermatt (Brücke zum Steg) - Ried - Tufteren - Sunnegga - Moosjisee - Grünsee - Riffelboden - Riffelalp

(followed by a ride on the Gornergrat Bahn to Zermatt or returning along the same route via Riffelboden, etc.)
