This race pushes the fittest and toughest endurance athletes to the limit: 48 km long, 3,600 vertical metres of ascent and descent, and plenty of challenging terrain. A contest without mercy for diehard runners.

Description
The Matterhorn Ultraks Trail races have taken place every August since 2012. The routes are devised so that non-runners also enjoy an impressive spectacle and can cheer on the competitors.
The 46K course follows a breathtaking route with extended open stretches as well as high summits. It’s an ideal course for athletes who can run fast on a technically challenging course complete with a gruelling climb up to 3,100 m on the Gornergrat. Only a true champion can master this circuit, the cult course of the Matterhorn Ultraks Trail contest.
