Athletic Skiers
The perfect ski day for …

Athletic Skiers

Carve your very first turns on freshly groomed slopes. The First Track event takes you to the ski slopes before their scheduled official opening.

1

After a breakfast buffet in Matterhorn glacier paradise, it is time to set off on skis once again. The slopes on the glacier are inviting and the slopes in the neighbouring Bella Italia also are waiting to be discovered by you.

2

The Matterhorn is up close – the Hirli lift opened in 2015 and takes you directly to the base of the Matterhorn north face. Do not miss out on this unique point of view. Thanks to the free online access throughout the skiing area, you can impress the folks back home with your amazing photos.

3

Skiing makes one hungry. A midday break in one of our mountain restaurants invites you to take part in our afternoon program with charged batteries.

4

Freshly refreshed and ready for the next challenge? How about trying out the longest ski slope in Europe? The downhill run from Matterhorn glacier paradise (Klein Matterhorn) to Zermatt is over 25 km long.

5

Take the same run when there are 360 km of slopes? It’s possible but not necessary. Via Furi, you can switch to the Gornergrat ski areas or even go all the way up to Sunnegga/Rothorn.

6

Closed pistes do not mean the activities have come to an end. Our après ski bars provide the perfect way to close out a wonderful ski day either on the dance floor or with a comforting drink.
