Perfect bike day for the …

e-Biker

After a generous breakfast in one of the bike hotels or bike holiday apartments it's time to explore the trails around Zermatt.

1

On the Zermatters "E-Fit: Stellisee" e-bike tour, you cycle from Zermatt via Ried and Tufteren to Sunnegga, known as the "sunny corner" of Zermatt.

2

From Sunnegga, the trail heads past the beautiful Stellisee and up to the Fluhalp restaurant for a well-earned lunch.

3

When you reach the Stellisee before lunch at the Fluhalp, it's the perfect place for a break. Where else can you see such a stunning reflection of the Matterhorn?

4

If you’d like more incredible views of the Matterhorn and the surrounding mountains, head for Sunnegga or Findeln and enjoy a sweet treat on one of the sunny mountain restaurants’ terraces.

5

It’s now time for the best bit of this route – the downhill to Zermatt. The new Sunnegga-Trail s a really fun way to head back to the village.

6

Here’s a tip: Instead of the Sunnegga-Trail, you can also choose the route of the ascent for your ride back to Zermatt.

7

Has this route given you a taste for e-bikes? Then there’s more: from Zermatt, you can cycle up to Furi and enjoy another downhill on the Moos-Trail.

8

After such a full day of biking, if you’re still not ready for sleep, you might like to try out one of the many fantastic restaurants in Zermatt. Yum...

9

For gourmets, we can recommend something truly special: the Kitchen Around. You can enjoy a three-course meal in the heart of a restaurant – the kitchen – in a selection of locations around Zermatt.
