The perfect day for the …

Bike enthusiast

After a generous breakfast in one of the bike hotels or holiday apartments it's time to explore the trails around Zermatt.

1

The Bike Pass Light is perfect for people who love mountain bike trails: Unlimited mountain rides including bike transport on the following railways: Zermatt/Sunnegga/Blauherd, Zermatt/Furi/Riffelberg and Zermatt/Furi/Schwarzsee/Trockener Steg.

2

The Sunnegga and Blauherd lifts will transport you and your mountain bike high up to Blauherd. After a quick selfie with the world’s most famous mountain, it’s time to set off. There are now three options:

Option 1 (easy): Follow the 4 lakes route.
Option 2 (medium): Follow the Blauherd-Riffelalp route and go up the Riffelberg Trail
Option 3 (medium / hard): Follow the Blauherd – Sunnegga route and then the Sunnegga Trail

3

Afterwards, it’s time for your first snack stop at Mountain Lodge Ze Seewjinu (on the route "4-Lakes") . The view from the mountain inn’s terrace is amazing.

4

That’s enough of a break. It’s time to continue past Grindjisee and Moosjisee towards Findeln, an absolute food lover’s paradise. Hungry mountain bikers will find just what they need to recharge their batteries in Findeln:

5

Refreshed and ready for your next challenge? From Findeln you go via Oberem Höhenweg to Zermatt.

6

Do you need a cool beer to make your bike day perfect? There’s plenty of choice in Zermatt:

7

Would you like even more mountain biking? Then you’ll like this: the Gornergrat Sunset Bike Ride allows you to see the mountains and bike trails in the light of the setting sun.
