“The Zermatt - Matterhorn destination is a pioneer. Never before has a Swiss tourism destination granted so much access behind the scenes on social media,” says Social Media manager Corinne Ulrich from Zermatt Tourism. Short live sequences will be shown from the cockpit of an Air Zermatt helicopter, from the engineer’s cab of the Gornergrat Railway and the cabin of the piste bully driver setting off on his next night-time tour. They take you into the hotel catacombs to the chefs, with the police on patrol, and to the night manager. Daring visitors go into the museum at night – and much more.
You see 35 service providers who show their work. The live crew, which creates the posts, consists of a professional photographer and three team members from Zermatt Tourism along with two monitors in the background.
Take Part in Comfort and Ask Questions
The sequences are posted live on the social media channels Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. So that a global audience can take part from their sofas without zapping between Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, the posts can also be seen centrally in live-mode on the Zermatt - Matterhorn website. Questions can also be asked interactively and live.
