Matterhorn Alpine Crossing: the vision becomes a reality

The clock is ticking: it's just one year until the Matterhorn Glacier Ride ll goes into operation. The modern 3S cable car will connect the Klein Matterhorn mountain station at 3,883 metres above sea level with the Testa Grigia valley station in Italy, thus enabling one of the highest and most panoramic border crossings – the Matterhorn Alpine Crossing.

As the final piece of the puzzle, the "Matterhorn Glacier Ride ll" will enable day trippers to travel back and forth by cable car between Switzerland and Italy all year round, not only on skis and snowboards, but also with dry feet, starting from autumn 2022. Breathtaking views, a unique experience and the highest level of comfort await you on the hour-long ride through the high alpine mountain world on this spectacular journey.
