Not only the award for Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet 2017 but also the renowned award for the World’s Best Ski Chalet 2017 were given to the Chalet Les Anges in Zermatt this year. On 18 November 2017, the 5th World Ski Awards ceremony took place in Kitzbühel.
Five Categories
The winners in 25 leading ski tourism nations were distinguished in the categories for the Best Ski Resort, Best Ski Hotel, Best Ski Boutique Hotel and Best Ski Chalet. Each winner with the most votes in the international comparison was also presented with the award on a global level. The determining factor for the rating was votes from industry experts and the general public. The latter voted for their favourites between June and September.
Outstanding and exclusive
"Chalet Les Anges is the most outstanding and exclusive five star chalet Switzerland and the world have to offer," write those in charge of the World Ski Awards. Praise is expressed for the elegance, the brightness thanks to the panorama windows, the magical view of the Matterhorn and the other mountains and the warm and cosy ambience.
