An experienced hotelier, Marco Osterwalder returned to Switzerland after 15 years in Asia. After a detour to Lucerne, he has now taken over the operational management of the CERVO Mountain Resort in Zermatt.
Marco Osterwalder started his career in the hotel industry after completing an apprenticeship as a chef at the former Belvoirpark Hotel Management School in Zurich. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, he went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the University of Lucerne. Following a period working in Dubai, he was drawn to Asia, where he worked for Hilton for eight years in various positions, including in Korea, Thailand and China.
In a further new appointment, Lilian Roten has also been named as a member of the Board of Directors of the CERVO operating company Hirschberg AG.
