Information
Swiss National Day in Zermatt just wouldn't be the same without its traditional street party the night before. Red and white flags, Swiss music, street food and a chance to catch up with friends; that is how Zermatt celebrates Switzerland's birthday!
From 5 pm onwards the Bahnhofstrasse up to the church becomes a gourmet El Dorado, with food to suit every taste and no shortage of entertainment. Our smallest guests can enjoy painting with Wolli from 16:00 to 17:00 hrs. You can look forward to an unforgettable celebration!
