Gregor Brantschen (1894–1987), priest and later on chaplain of Zermatt, was a poet and composer of regional importance. His folksongs are part of the cultural heritage of the canton of Wallis. His legacy – scores, texts and its original harmonium – was donated to the Matterhorn Museum and is now part of its collection. On the occasion of the night of the museums we will resurrect the work of Gregor Brantschen in the form of text, images and sound.
