"Location very convenient 100m from the ski lifts. Apartment nicely done, but for the price paid, it could use an update. A few small things would make it feel warmer - having some tea and coffee or a small welcome basket. Service at the hotel is dry. No shuttle from bus stop after 6pm, no porter to help with family luggage after 6pm, not an organized welcome at reception. It works, but it doesn't feel hospitable. We would stay again because of the convenience though."

"Hotel and apartments are in an awesome location with easy access to ski lifts etc. Hotel staff are pleasant; always on hand to help etc Hotel is very cool with great facilities. Apartments are ok, not as nice as the hotel however. We need an apartment as we are a family of 4, so hotel room doesn’t work! One draw back - apartment is advertised as a 3 bed, however when we arrived, we found out that this means 3 single beds and not 3 bed rooms I.e 1 single bed per person, not a 3 bed apartment - we had to pay almost £700 extra for a fold up bed for my 7 year old daughter which is not great…"

"Have been staying here regularly in last 15 years. Best place to go to the Express lift and still close to the village centre. Apartments are warm and cosy, all you need is there. Nice views, depending on which place you're in. Each time I go back to Zermatt, I will go there when they have available appt."

"Wood and stone for a cozy flat with a big terrace. All at the right place. Giant windows to feel the mountains. Small kitchen but very practical. Nespresso coffee maker appreciated. Due to the anomalous temperature and only one door to the terrace was difficult to change air. Staff very kind. Tunnel to the lift very cold. 22 Summits is in a perfect position to go for stroll or sport. I’ll be back."

"I booked for 3 days and stayed for 2 days. I got reduced only the city tax for the 3rd day but not the breakfast cost for the 3rd day. If they have reduced the breakfast cost, I would have been happier. I stayed in Apartment 31. The waitress at the breakfast could be more friendlier. The flush for the commode toilet is broken."

"Overall, we loved the room and the balcony! Few comments: 1. We arrived at 22 Summits with a note on the door that they were closed (this was 12:30 PM in the afternoon on a weekday), so we had no idea how to get our key and where to go. I sent an email that never was answered and eventually had to call to find out where we needed to go for our key. That entire process took about 45 minutes of us trying to figure out where to go and how to get our key. 2.The shower door was broken when we got to the room. It would not slide to open, but we eventually got it to move and had to be very careful with it each time we used the shower. 3. The washer and dryer were terrible! We started our load at 5:30 PM and it took 3.5 hours to wash the clothes in the washer and when they were done, the door was locked and we could not get them out. We called reception, that was closed (it was 7:45 PM), but luckily Carolina answered and was so helpful! We got the door to open and when we did, the clothes were soaking wet. We had no more coins, so Carolina helped us by giving us money for one more load to wring out the clothes. It then took until 11:30 PM for part of the load to be dry and the other items had to dry for another 2 hours in the morning! She said that they washer and dryer were new. Please get someone to take a look at how they were installed, because something is not right with them! We really did love the room and the location and would stay there again and recommend it, but thought it was important for you to know some issues that we had during out stay."

"Everything very good: rooms, breakfast, sauna, nice personnel. Only one small detail, which may be improved: while the sauna is open until 20:00, the electrical heating of the sauna stops between 19:00-19:30, it has only inertial heat, so the sauna is not hot enough during the last opening hour."

"We loved our stay (our second time) at 22 Summits aparthotel. The facilities are newly renovated, convenient and clean. The location close to the Matterhorn Paradise gondola (<5 min walk) and bus stop makes it ideal, while also being close to town. You have the benefits of a hotel experience (housekeeping daily, breakfast), with the amenities of an apartment (e.g., kitchen)."

"Thanks travel almost every week for work so see many hotels and apartments and can compare a large number of rooms from my own experiebce. We absolutely love staying at the 22Summits apartments and we have stayed for several years now. The reception are really helpful and friendly, the breakfast and the breakfast team are great and friendly, and the cleaning staff great too. The rooms are excellent too, as it the location. There is a lovely bar area too.. One matter to improve on apartment room 41 is that the lighting in the main living area is very weak. It is not possible really to read a book in the dining or moving area; the appartement would benefit from some additional lighting, for example a light next to the sofa so it is possible to read. Otherwise excellent. We have asked for a superior room next year because it will have 2 toilets."

"We’ve come back many times, both at the hotel and now at the apartments. The summit benefits from its great location, the newly built rooms and a very good cleaning service but needs to work on its service offering at the reception. While we really appreciated the pick-up on dec 25, the departure trip was handled in an unfortunate manner… we waited for 10-15m only to be told that the car only goes to the station. If that was the case, that could have been communicated upfront and not end up in shouting match with the front office staff…. Not appropriate for 4 star offering. Also, the trainer in the gym is still broken. Same state as we experienced last Easter. Someone needs to step up here…"

"First time in Switzerland. I chose 22 summits based on ratings, proximity and amenities. I would definitely stay there again. The fridge and oven came in handy. That shower was absolutely heavenly. Amazing water pressure. Great English channels, excellent wifi, beautiful views and great customer service. I gave it 9 stars because due to no central air mold is starting to grow in the shower. It wasn’t anything hazardous yet but since most places don’t have central air you’d think everyone will pay a bit more attention to this detail."

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Unit 310 at the 22 Summit Apartments this past September. The apartment was spotless and well laid out. Comfortable beds, great seating area and kitchen and bright windows everywhere. Perfect place to come and relax after long days of hiking in the mountains. The bathrobes we ordered were worth the extra cost and the laundry facilities onsite were most helpful. Easy quick walk into town and the peekaboo view we had of the Matterhorn from the corner of our deck was a nice bonus. Our only suggestion is that we would have liked to have more information about the available spa services at the hotel. We were staying at the apartments during the off-peak season and were aware when we booked that access to the spa was on a user pay basis which was fine with us, however at checkin, little to no information was provided. We felt that as first time visitors, it would have been nice to tour the spa area so we knew where it was and what was available to book."
