The destination Zermatt Täsch Randa has its roots in alpine sport and mountaineering. 65 licensed mountain guides know all about the mountain world around the Matterhorn, with its 38 4,000-metre peaks. It is also possible for people with a good level of physical fitness – and the appropriate respect for the mountain – to take part in this extreme sport.
Over gravel and stones, through larch and Swiss pine forests, on Single Trails – and all this with a magnificent mountain backdrop: On six routes with a total of 100 km with different difficulty levels, you will cover an average of 1,000 metres of altitude. The training effect becomes optimal between 1,600 and 2,500 metres.
The Forest Fun Park promises fun and adventure for the whole family, for all age groups. Secured by safety lines, you can step, swing and climb from tree to tree. In this way, you can get a feel for the sport of climbing from the Tyrolean traverses and suspended bridges with different levels of difficulty and at different heights.
Early Bird, night golf, "Bring a friend": the Golf Club Matterhorn certainly comes up with good ideas for its guests. Just outside the village of Zermatt, between Täsch and Randa, you can play on a 9-hole golf course of the "Alpine Parkland" model with a view of the Breithorn and the Klein Matterhorn.
The ultimate challenge for the adventurous: Travel up to the Schwarzsee paradise as often as you like in the cable car, and race back down into the valley with the dirt scooter (downhill trottinett/scooter).
