The “mountain hut of the future” has been built. The new Monte Rosa Hut above Zermatt will open after a planning phase of around six years – four semesters of which were as a design study project – and a construction period of two summers. The innovative building with the nickname Bergkristall (mountain crystal) is over 90% energy self-sufficient.

In the fifth year of the Spring Studio Workshop (Frühjahrsatelier), where renowned artists are inspired to do exceptional things on the glacier, Julen will cast the dice.
