12.12.2012 Next spring from 9 to 13 April 2013 marks the sixth time that Zermatt Unplugged – that extraordinary music festival – will be held. We now know what the main acts will be and advance ticket sales have started. The highlights: Umberto Tozzi, Die Fantastischen Vier, Bryan Ferry.
Once again, Zermatt Unplugged is your chance to get up close and personal with such music stars as:
Tuesday, 9 April: Marquee stage: Italian night with Umberto Tozzi and Stadio Vernissage: Rea Garvey (sold out)
Wednesday, 10 April Marquee stage: Die Fantastischen Vier Vernissage: Stefanie Heinzmann
Thursday, 11 April Marquee stage: Brian Ferry Vernissage: Mando Diao (sold out)
Friday, 12 April Marquee stage: Morcheeba with Skye Vernissage: Birgit Bidder
Saturday, 13 April Marquee stage: Skunk Anasie
Some 35 free concerts with mainly unknown musicians will again be performing for your listening pleasure at nine locations around the village. And besides, there is also that typical Zermatt experience at sunset – the Sunnegga Sessions – smaller concerts performed at 2,288 metres above sea level. Details of the other acts will be announced at a later date.
