Zermatt: Join former ski stars for a unique experience
Zermatt is all about top-level skiing in breathtaking surroundings. The Zermatt Ski Festival held in late November 2012 is a unique opportunity for guests to glide down Zermatt’s pistes in the company of former ace skiers.
Zermatt regulars know all about skiing through powder snow while savouring the views of numerous peaks soaring to 4000 m and above – it’s why they love coming here. And now they have an opportunity to trump that experience by skiing in the company of prominent skiers. The motto: the run of amazing results achieved by Switzerland’s ski stars in Crans-Montana. It was 1987 when Switzerland’s national ski team picked up armfuls of medals at the World Championships, led by Erika Hess and Maria Walliser. They are set to lead the way again down Zermatt’s pistes in the company of other celebrities. Among them, former federal councillor Adolf Ogi, whose book So wa(h)r es was a runaway success this spring.
