Nik Hartmann's "Gipfelstürmer" hits series in Zermatt
On Saturday 5 October 2013, “Gipfelstürmer”, the four-part TV show, enters its second round. This time, presenter Nik Hartmann has invited his guests to Zermatt.
“Gipfelstürmer” programme. Last year, the episodes were shot in Grisons. This year, Valais has the pleasure of hosting the series and Zermatt has been chosen as the location for the second season. In the upcoming programme, Nik Hartmann has invited Swiss celebrities to Zermatt to discuss various subjects, among them the 30 most popular TV personalities in Switzerland.
For the duration of the shooting from 15 to 22 September, the TV crew put up at the luxury Chalet Les Anges in Zermatt’s Le Petit Village quarter. The chalet was chosen for its spaciousness and first-class Alpine chic. A further asset was the magnificent view it affords of the Matterhorn and the surrounding mountainscape.

The Zermatt-Matterhorn holiday destination boasts a total of 54 chalets. The upper categories include the following number of establishments: five 5-star superior, eight 5-star, four 4-star superior and seventeen 4-star chalets.
