New Sunday experience: Brunch train trips in a panoramic car
For the year 2013 and once again, the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB) will be offering its brunch train trips. As a new offer, passengers can use the line between Brig and Zermatt. The Sunday trips will now run from 27 January to 7 April 2013. An experience in a panoramic car on the Brig-Zermatt route.
The new route for these brunch train rides aboard the GlacierExpress coach leads from Brig/Visp to Zermatt. The panoramic car enables you to enjoy an amazing train ride to the highest mountains in the Alps that are navigable by rail. Along the section in the Nikolaital and Mattertal valleys, the train is supported by a cog wheel mechanism. In Zermatt you have the opportunity to travel up the Gornergrat at a reduced price and enjoy a great mountain experience on a toboggan or on foot.
The self-service buffet brunch is made with local and regional products from the cantons of Valais, Uri and Graubünden. Breakfast buffet treats are served on the outward journey while on the return ride cheese is served as well as an extensive selection of desserts.
