New Year’s Eve on Kirchplatz square
It has become a regular event over past years for Zermatt locals and visitors alike to gather on Kirchplatz square where music entertains everybody. Private fireworks are allowed, but pay attention, no firework rockets in the crowd.  So wrap up warmly, don’t forget to bring the champagne, and come celebrate, together with all the others from polyglot Zermatt!
