Cheese making

Would you have believed it? 20 cows belonging to 5 farmers from Zermatt produce 300 litres of milk every day. Get to know Zermatt from its original side, by visiting the Alpsennerei (Alpine dairy) on the Stafel in the summer, or the Horu cheese makers in the village during the winter season. Have the production sites and the various processes explained to you and taste some excellent cheeses. At both locations, you can buy dairy products to take home.
