Zermatt: Two stars in the Swiss Guide Michelin 2015
Zermatt is THE culinary hot spot in the Alps. The Guide Michelin stars for 2015 have just been published, revealing that two Zermatt restaurants have been awarded one Michelin star each, Le Capri in the hotel Mont Cervin Palace and “After Seven” in the hotel Backstage. 33 hotels and 16 restaurants are listed in the Guide.
Zermatt has a range of over 100 village restaurants as well as over 50 mountain restaurants. Two of Zermatt‘s outstanding eateries have been awarded 1 star in the 2015 edition of the Swiss Guide Michelin: Both “Le Capri” at the Grand Hotel Mont Cervin Palace, which connoisseurs of the Southern Italian seafood cuisine refer to as the “best Italian restaurant in Switzerland”, and the After Seven at Hotel Backstage, where star chef Ivo Adam takes his guests to culinary heaven, have retained their stars. The restaurant Heimberg is no more listed because the concept has changed.
