The helicopter company Air Zermatt provides transport and rescue services for the Zermatt-Matterhorn destination. It also offers all kinds of adventures for visitors – such as sightseeing flights around the Matterhorn.
Teams and/or individuals compete by using a real shotgun that has been deactivated and adapted to shoot infrared rays at reusable clays. The clays are fitted with receptors and fired from high-quality traps.
For decades, Werner Imboden has been driving his single-horse carriage through Zermatt’s alleys and squares and to secluded spots in and around the resort. For visitors, the leisurely trip is one of the most romantic experiences Zermatt has to offer.
Zermatt is the Mountain Bike Paradise at the foot of the Matterhorn. 100 km of signed mountain bike tours are available. Downhill riders get their money’s worth along the demanding downhill piste at Sunnegga.
For once, feel like a bird and experience Zermatt and the landscape from another perspective. Two flying schools offer this experience with their tandem flights. They also give courses for the more daring.
The Zermatt Skatepark at the Obere Matten sports area in the centre of the resort is open to all skateboarders free of charge. Children, teenagers and adults are all welcome to test their skateboarding skills here.
